Army continues counter-terrorism operations in several areas

Provinces, (SANA) Syrian army repelled Monday the armed terrorist groups in several areas, killed and injured huge numbers of terrorists and destroyed their equipments.

Non-Syrian terrorists killed, heavy weaponry destroyed in Lattakia

Army units in Lattakia targeted several terrorists' gatherings in several villages in the northern countryside. Those included Salma, Dorin, al-Dweirkeh, Khan al-Jouz, al-Kabir, al-Fruluq, al-Khadra and al-Samra.

The operations in those villages resulted in the death of numbers of terrorists and the injury of others, in addition to destroying heavy machine guns mounted on cars, rocket launchers and rocket launch pads.

Non-Syrians were among the dead terrorists.

Three citizens killed in terrorist attacks in Damascus countryside and Aleppo 

A terrorist explosive device blast killed one citizen and caused material damage to the properties in al-Tal city in Damascus countryside.

A source at the police command told SANA reporter that terrorists detonated an explosive device composed of C4 highly explosive material after it was placed outside a residential building in al-Bayader neighborhood in al-Tal city killing one citizen and causing heavy material damage to the building and the cars nearby.

Two citizens killed in terrorist rocket shell in Aleppo

A source in Aleppo province told SANA reporter that two citizens were killed and others got injured as terrorist fired a rocket shell on al-Khaldieh neighborhood in Aleppo city.

Army eliminates non-Syrian terrorists in Damascus Countryside

The army units continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in many areas in Damascus Countryside, killing dozens of terrorists, many of them of Chechen, Yemeni and Saudi nationalities.

SANA reporter said that scores of terrorists were killed in a series of operations carried out by the army in the Eastern al-Ghouta and al-Mleiha, adding that among the killed terrorists were Sajed al-Azraq from Chechnya, Bandar Abdul-Rahman Fallh from Yemen and Mohammad al-Hameed, leader of a terrorist group.

The army also targeted terrorist gatherings and hideouts in the areas of Joubar and Ein Turma, killing and injuring a number of terrorists. Saudi terrorist Abdul-Rahman al-Owadi was identified among the dead.

Meanwhile, the army destroyed a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun and loaded with weapons and ammunition and killed a number of terrorists in Erbeen and Alya farms areas, among the killed terrorist was Amer al-Abras.

An army unit eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group near Qara area, among the killed terrorist was Wael al-Ajran. The army targeted terrorists in many areas in Daraya and made direct blows upon them.

Army inflicts heavy losses upon terrorists in Daraa

Army units confronted an armed terrorist groups which tried to attack the southern-western part of Kherbet Ghazaleh village in Daraa countryside from al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh village , inflicting heavy losses upon them.

A military source told SANA that army units foiled an armed terrorist group's infiltration attempt towards Jadal town and destroyed a number of cars with all weapons inside them. Terrorists were also killed in the operation.

The army units also killed and injured all members of an armed terrorist group in Housh al-Sharid in Allajat area, the source added.

Army units targeted terrorists' gatherings in al-Taybeh, Saida and Etman, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

A unit of the armed forces killed all members of an armed terrorist group in Tal al-Zaatar in the southwestern side of al-Zaidi valley in the countryside. A number of the terrorists' vehicles were destroyed in the operation.

Terrorists repelled in Aleppo

Army units foiled an armed terrorist group's attempt to attack safe areas in al-Rashedeen, al-Ameria, al-Lairamoun and al-Zahraa Association in Aleppo, inflicting direct loses upon terrorists.

According to a military source, the army units eliminated terrorists' gatherings and destroyed a number of their vehicles in Deir Hafer, Erbid, the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, Handrat, al-Jubailah, al-Lairamoun, Kafr Hamra, Maaret al-Artik, B'aedin, Bianon, al-Rashedeen and Bani Zaid.

Terrorists killed in Idleb countryside

A military source told SANA that the army units targeted terrorists' dens and gatherings in al-Kfair, Koreen, Maar Debseh, al-Rami, Kansafra, al-Mghara, Maaret al-Nouman in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring several terrorists, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
